Triple win at The Interactive Media Awards

The Tiny Hunter team is celebrating not one, not two, but three award wins at the Interactive Media Awards, an awards programme which recognises excellence in website design and build.

Nominations are accepted from around the world and winning entries undergo a comprehensive judging process. Scored against five specific criteria: design, content, feature functionality, usability, and standards compliance, each entry can receive a max score of 500.

With such a high bar set, and stiff global competition, we really couldn’t be happier with our award win hat-trick. And of course a big congratulations and thank you goes to our winning clients Cockle Bay Wharf, Wildman Wilderness Lodge, and Tourism NT.

Here’s a quick look at the winning projects in more detail:

COCKLE BAY WHARF (retail category):

Tiny Hunter has worked with Cockle Bay Wharf and their partner Twentieth Letter Marketing and Communications for many years. We developed the brand and website, and we work on multiple marketing activations each year, in partnership with Twentieth Letter. The website scored a huge 488 points out of 500, including 100 points for feature functionality and content.

WILDMAN WILDERNESS LODGE, (travel and tourism category):

Situated two hours east of Darwin, on the fringe of Kakadu National Park, Wildman Wilderness Lodge offers the ultimate in bush luxury. We developed a new brand for the company which reflects this feeling of opulence in the outback. We then brought this to life through the website, with stunning design and content, working in collaboration the company’s existing developers. The website scored 487 out of 500 points.

LILY JI MICROSITE FOR TOURISM NT (travel and tourism category):

Recognising the young Chinese adventurer as a key market for travelling to and experiencing Australia’s Northern Territory, Tourism NT embarked on a marketing campaign to appeal to the Chinese youth market. Lily Ji, a well known Chinese celebrity, was embraced as the brand ambassador to communicate the unique offerings of the NT region. The website, which we designed and developed, scored a very impressive 496 out of 500 with 100 points each for design, functionality, content and usability.
