Slice and dice: Maximise and amplify your content

Many businesses are guilty of creating content but not fully maximising the benefit from it. Which makes sense, because we are all busy doing what we do best. Here we chat about the power of long-form evergreen content and looking at ways to 10X the value your business gets from creating it.

BRANDING BEFORE BREAKFAST Ep 91 Slice and dice: Maximise and amplify your content

Morning, everyone. I’m Jodie. I’m the MD of Tiny Hunter and today I want to speak with you about content. Why? Because content is the connective tissue between you and the rest of the world. You know, it’s connecting with your customers, potential partners, but importantly, potential customers as well.

So you are probably guilty of this. Creating some lovely long-form piece of content. If it’s a blog article or a white paper or case study, whatever it might be, putting it on your website, popping it on social media once and that’s it. So you’ve gone to all that effort of creating this piece of content and gotten hardly any value out of it. So, create long-form pieces of content that are evergreen if you can. So they’re going to be relevant at any time. And think about all the different ways that you can post that.

So on social media, you can have five or ten different ways that you are talking about that piece but linking back to the same piece. Maybe this long-form piece of content’s got some quotes in it or some results that you want to promote. Or maybe your long-form piece of content is a case study.

So we create lots of case studies of our work. So it goes on the website, it goes across our social channels but then we’ll also enter it into awards and things like that. So what I want you to challenge yourself to do is creating a long-form piece of content, but then thinking about, how can I get 5 10, 15 times more out of this than what I have been getting currently. That’s it from me. It’s time for brekkie.
