Good morning. My name is Kiri. I’m the Business Growth Strategist here at Tiny Hunter. And today is the first episode for 2025. So what better time than now to talk about the big trends, the big shifts we’re going to be seeing in the world of brand this year. First up is the end of the divide between brand and commerce.

So typically a lot of companies have seen brand and sales as two separate things. The idea being, build a brand and then sell um, to customers later. So I think if we think about our favourite luxury brands, no longer do they sell just products anymore. They create these entirely premium and individualised experiences from that first click on a website to the final delivery. So we’re going to be seeing a lot more of that this year. Next up is the merging between the B2B and the B2C world in terms of the customer experience. I had a client say to me something the other day that’s really stuck in my mind. It was that their customers are everyday buying online, getting a delivery at the drop of a hat, yet they come into work and they’re using this really clunky ordering system. And I think that gap is no longer going to be acceptable. So B2B brands that are embracing that B2C customer experience. They’re going to be winning really big this year.

Next up is sustainability. Nothing new there, but it’s actually no longer a nice to have. We’re seeing brands build their entire business models around sustainability. It’s what clients and customers expect. So Sustainability is not going anywhere. And then lastly is the simplification of brand architecture. Gone are the days of really complex brand hierarchies. We’re now seeing, you know, the new reality for digital first brands is that they need to be instantly recognisable, instantly understandable and instantly engaging.

So there’s a few of the big shifts we’re seeing this year. My question for you is, are you prepared for 2025 and what are the areas that you possibly need to evolve?
