Tiny Hunter website wins best in class award

The Tiny Hunters are thrilled to have received the Best in Class Award at this year’s Interactive Media Awards for the new Tiny Hunter website.

The Best in Class award is the highest honour bestowed by the Interactive Media Awards. It represents the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism. In order to win this award level, a site has to successfully pass through a comprehensive judging process, achieving very high marks in each of the judging criteria – an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each year.

The Tiny Hunter brand visualisation and web design is built around the thought of ‘transformation’. ‘Tiny Hunter’ is named after an Australian species of dragonfly, the dragonfly universally known as a symbol for change. And every aspect of the look and feel of the brand has been inspired by the world of the dragonfly – its behaviour, its appearance, its flight paths, its environment. The connecting lines on the logo type represent aspects of the dragonfly’s flight path. The colour palette and gradient colour combinations have been inspired by the dragonfly’s environment. The series of line art patterns used throughout the brand have been created in reference to the dragonfly’s unique behaviours and appearance.

The website in both design and functionality reflects the very core of our business. It has an immersive, transformative feel; a considered effect created by the combination of the dragonfly inspired brand elements.
