A strategic branding project to make Adelaide stand out on the world stage and cement it as a premier educational destination.

OBJECTIVE

StudyAdelaide was established in 1998 and markets Adelaide as a centre of education excellence; highlighting the many advantages that international students who choose to live, work and study in South Australia have. StudyAdelaide came to us to ensure their brand and messaging was doing Adelaide justice. We were engaged to develop a framework for effectively communicating why students should choose Adelaide as a study destination, when they have an entire world of options.

SOLUTION

To successfully market Adelaide as the study destination of choice, StudyAdelaide needed clear, compelling and consistent messaging. After a rigorous research and workshop process we identified the key points of difference and developed the brand positioning and strategic messaging. We then brought this to life – both in language and in visuals – tapping into the greater Adelaide positioning of ‘Designed for life’ which was originally developed by the City of Adelaide. We developed a look and feel that supported the human, lifestyle-friendly personality of Adelaide, while reflecting the first class, global education.
