Your customer has the power – they choose when, why and how they engage with your brand, product or service. It’s a competitive world out there and here we explore – what is a brand?
So I’m that girl that really loves branding. I know that is super geeky but what I really love about it is that it’s a methodology for a process that if you stick to it precisely, you can create extraordinary results for your business.
So I come across all sorts of people that are doing amazing things, creating products and services. But when it comes to their brand, they’re really kind of flapping around in the wind. So my business partners, Jodie, Jo and myself have decided to bring out this series Branding Before Breakfast to help everyone out there build their brand.
But let’s start with what is a brand? Well traditionally a brand has been considered how you present yourself to the world, but I’d like to shake up that definition a little because things are different these days in terms of the customer has the power. Your customer chooses when, how and why they engage with your product, your service or your brand. So when you’re thinking about the definition of branding, it’s really got to start with the customer. So the definition of a brand is actually how your customers think and feel about you.
That’s it from me. I’m off to have brekkie. I’ll see you soon.
