Never has it been more important to build a strong, distinctive and consistent brand. While you are likely well versed when it comes to the importance of the look, and language, of your brand another tool in your brand building toolkit is your motion branding. Here we explore exactly what that is and why it matters.
Good morning. My name is Kiri, I’m the Business Growth Strategist here at Tiny Hunter. And we’re at the start of a new year, which is exciting. And so I thought today I’d talk about some of the big trends that we’re going to be seeing a lot of this year.
The first is motion branding, which is all about combining animation technologies with brand design. But it’s so much more than animation, it is considered movement that is distinct to your brand. We like to say movement with meaning, and it is a really compelling way to create a unique brand, but also to engage with your audience in that immersive way. The next is, brand language and tone of voice. This is such a huge part of what makes a brand distinctive. And it’s often an area of branding that can be overlooked or perhaps seen as an afterthought. Brands that are creating unique voices are the ones that are going to be standing out in the crowd. If you think this is an area of your brand that needs a bit of work, why not make it a focus this year? Take the time and energy to create a voice that’s uniquely yours and then ensure that that transcends across all your touchpoints. The last area of branding I want to talk about is storytelling. Now, I don’t know about you, but I am so overseeing our social channels being flooded with the same ads promoting these mediocre products that are built on fads and trends. It’s just so boring. They’re all the same. Brands that are using storytelling as a way to show their people who they are are going to have so much more cut through this year.
There’s a whole heap of new and existing trends that we’re going to see a lot of this year. But for me, 2024 is all about standing out from the crowd. So using the power of creativity, motion, voice and storytelling to connect with your audience, I think is going to be a bit of a game changer this year.
That’s it from me, it’s time for brekkie.
