My top brand and business inspiration sources for 2021

“I remind myself every morning: Nothing I say this day will teach me anything. So if I’m going to learn, I must do it by listening.” Larry King. I couldn’t agree more and in this episode I share my top 4 sources that I regularly listen to; smart people, with smart ideas, and interesting thoughts to expand your thinking.

TRANSCRIPT – BRANDING BEFORE BREAKFAST EP59

Hi! This week I wanted to talk to you about my top inspirational sources for 2021.

My first two are actually podcasts, the first being from Brené Brown. Many people know Brené’s Ted Talk on vulnerability, but she’s actually just recently started a Dare To Lead podcast on Spotify and it gives you great insight into the culture that your brand and business create, and how that moves forward from leadership down to the team and can really impact performance. She recently did one with Simon Sinek that I would highly recommend you watch.

My second is from Tim Ferriss. Tim Ferriss wrote a book called the Tools Of Titans and he has a podcast where he consistently is talking to people who are at the top of their game. You cannot listen to one of those podcast without taking away a piece of gold to bring into your business and that will impact your brand.

My third is from a business called Tribe Group and they do a range of videos that move from 20 minutes up to 40 minutes and it’s called Marketers In Pajamas. It started during Covid, but essentially it’s really smart people speaking to each other about how brand and marketing have impacted their business, where it’s really help them excel and any pitfalls that they’ve encountered. So I definitely recommend you check that out.

And finally I’d like to recommend to you Abbie White. She owns a business called Sales Redefined. Now what Abbie is all about is bridging the gap between sales and marketing, and in many businesses that can occur. And so if you go to her website – Sales Redefined – and sign up to the newsletter, you’ll find that on a weekly basis you get really bite-size top tips of how to make sure that everybody’s working together to make your business and brand really thrive. Okay, that’s it from me. I hope these help and inspire you. It’s time for brekkie.
