TRANSCRIPT – BRANDING BEFORE BREAKFAST EP43

Hi, today I want to talk to you about my fourth quick win in branding.

So recently we had a client come in to do a brand workshop and brand strategy section of our Brand Kinship process. It went really well. We uncovered real gold in the workshop. And once the strategy was articulated, it was very well received. So we were excited to get started on the brand visualization and also the website. We gave them a call, but nothing. We were so confused. Everything had gone really well. We decided to give them a bit of space and see what happened. Sure enough in a couple of weeks time they gave us a call with big apologies that they hadn’t been able to get back to us. But good news. They had been too busy with too much business. And that is what we like for our clients. When they had come into the workshop and seen what we had articulated in the strategy, they had taken that back to the wider team and spoken to all the departments about the lightbulb moments they had about their brand. All of a sudden they had started to approach sales the way that they move people through the funnel and the entire customer experience in a different way to make sure that it was living and breathing the brand. And it paid off. They are going through unprecedented growth and that’s why they didn’t have time to talk to us. And we do not mind that at all.

So today, I want you to have a think about who in your business and what departments really know and understand your brand strategy. Are they bringing it to life for you? Because there could be real untapped potential to accelerate your growth. That’s it from me, time for brekkie.
