She made the switch to advertising 10 years ago and hasn’t looked back since. A skilled content strategist and copywriter, Brooke loves coming up with those ‘big ideas’, and is a steadfast advocate of the Oxford Comma.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WORKING AT TINY HUNTER?
One of Tiny Hunter’s values is ‘always ask why’ and as a bit of a Devil’s Advocate at heart this is something I love. Constantly questioning ourselves leads to the best creative work possible.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT WHEN IT COMES TO BRANDING?
For me it’s all about the words. Often copy can be an afterthought, but with our creative process, developing a clear tone of voice is just as important as the visual look and feel of the brand. Oh, and seeing your words on the shelf or on a billboard isn’t too shabby either.
WHAT IS SOMETHING INTERESTING OR QUIRKY THAT PEOPLE MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I spend most weekends out in the wilderness somewhere, hiking or camping. I also volunteer as a hiking guide for a charity that raises funds for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. I basically spend my weekends sleeping under canvas and covered in dirt!
