Emma Scott is an award winning creative director and brand strategist. Through Emma’s 15 years in the industry she has developed a great love for supporting family-owned Australian brands in their growth journey. This passion for family business is within Emma’s DNA. She grew up part of her own family’s business, working weekends for her dad, alongside her brother and sister. She understands the blood, sweat and tears that go into making a family business work, and the relationship dynamic between family members from both a business point of view and a personal point of view.
Emma’s keen interest lies in strategic planning to capture the hearts and minds of a business’ most desired customer, to ultimately impact sales and growth. Tiny Hunter is known for its human-centric approach to branding, Brand Kinship®, an approach which Emma has championed throughout the agency.
Brand and marketing is no longer a linear conversation. It’s complex and multi-dimensional. Most importantly the power in the relationship between a brand and its customer has changed. It is now the customer that decides how, when and why they want to engage with a brand. Everything needs to be built from that key consumer insight that taps into the powerful point of difference for a brand. A brand needs to genuinely solve a relevant problem for the customer and ensure that it evolves with the customer, as their need states change.
