Why branding is a flexible superpower

The beauty of branding is that it is a tool that every business can use to create growth. It is flexible and multi-faceted – how it can help one business today, is different to how it can help another. No matter where you are on your business journey, you can harness the power of brand to better engage both your customers and teams and create momentum.

Hi everyone, I’m Jodie, I’m the MD at Tiny Hunter, and today I want to talk about why I love branding. There’s so many reasons why I love branding, you might have noticed, but one of the reasons that I love branding is that it can meet you where you are.

Branding is very multifaceted and all encompassing, and there’s many different levels in terms of working on your brand. So it’s a superpower that you can leverage in different ways, depending on what you’re ready for. Sometimes we’re working with companies that might have been trading for 50 years and have a significant multi-million dollar business, but they have been using the same identity for a really long time and you can tell, and for them, defining their strategy and doing a brand identity that really expresses what they’ve become and really engages with their audience is a huge step forward that’s going to have quite an impact on the business. Versus you might have a company that has invested in their brand strategy and their brand identity and they’re doing some great things in terms of marketing, but now they want to look internally and look at their brand engagement, their values, how they’ve embedded those in the organisation, and how everyone’s living and breathing them. Or maybe they want to work on their sales teams and make sure that they’ve got an understanding across the business so that there’s more cross-selling across different departments.

Branding is like a connective tissue through all aspects of your business. You can use it as a lens and a tool to create change in many different ways. We are pretty intense about branding. We think it can do many things and we love for people to invest in it, but really the takeaway today is that branding can help you no matter where you are or what you need to achieve, there is always a way that having a brand lens can help you achieve greater things. That’s why we love it today, because it’s flexible and it can meet you where you are. Got to love that, right?
