REBRAND

A rebrand for Perform-Ability that has flexibility to speak to both teachers and students — as they have programs and training for different audience segments. 

OBJECTIVE

Off the back of our work with DanceBop!, Perform-Ability came to us wanting a professional looking brand that had flex to speak to both instructors and students (plus their parents). Miranda (founder of both DanceBop! And Perform-Ability) wanted to grow the instructor training segment of the business while still offering classes for students of all abilities. She also wanted the brand to reflect the joy of performance for every one, rather than focus on being a ‘program for special needs’. 

SOLUTION

A full immersion session with the creative team gave us insight into Miranda’s vision for the business. From there we developed the vision for the brand and created an identity that is bold but has the flexibility to connect across audiences. The use of a strong colour palette, typography and candid imagery emphasises the power performance has to include, and inspire, absolutely any one.

“I always love working with Tiny Hunter and wouldn’t dream of heading anywhere else when it comes to my brands. This is the second brand we have worked on together. It was a very different process for me as the first brand we worked on was a new one entirely. Working on a rebrand this time around was much harder (for me!) as I had a 12 year relationship with this brand and as much as I knew it was time to freshen it up, it was hard to let go of the original logo and colours. Sarah and Kiri were so patient and understanding with me as we went through quite a few different designs.
