You have a branding problem: All roads lead back to brand

Almost everyone we speak to describes their business problems but says ‘no we don’t need brand’. But almost every problem traces back to a brand issue. People who recognise this will win.

Hi everyone, morning. I am Jodie, the MD of Tiny Hunter and I want to talk to you about your branding problem. I know, I know. You’re thinking ‘I don’t have a branding problem.’ We hear this all the time. People saying to us ‘I don’t need branding but I just want someone to pick me over my competitor’. Branding problem. ‘I don’t need branding but a just need to increase sales’ Branding problem. ‘I don’t need branding but I’m not sure my team are really engaged in the direction of the business’ Branding problem.

Time and time again,we hear people talking about business problems that can be addressed by brand. A huge, huge number of business problems that can be addressed by brand. And the reason this perception exists is that people think that brand is very narrow. In many cases they think it’s just about colours and logos and things like that. Brand strategy is foundational to your whole business and it steers the direction not only of the marketing but the actual direction of the business, the employees, the engagement, how you work with partners. It’s multifaceted.
