Fashion meets theatre

Some things just have to be seen to be believed. Take for example, Italian fashion house, Moncler, who recently orchestrated an innovative “cat work” for New York Fashion Week.

The luxury label, combined performance and fashion to exhibit theirĀ Fall/Winter 2014 collection.

The creative team behind the label transformed New York’s Hammerstein’s Ballroom into an immersive sensory experience, combining theatre, fashion and music.

Set on a dark stage, 60 men and women sung and hummed along with a full piece orchestra. As their voices reverberated throughout the auditorium, the audience gazed on in amazement.

The choristers were dressed entirely in black and white, while models above were clothed in Moncler’s collection of quilted jackets, ski and outdoor-wear.

Flashing lights were used to illuminate the ski collection, a truly innovative and gorgeous way to show off a remarkable collection.
