Although creating a brand, or doing a rebrand, can seem like a huge body of work it’s actually only the beginning. Your brand is your strategy in motion, not a ‘one and done’ scenario. You need to keep a laser focus on creating a brand-led organisation – starting with these key areas.

Hi, everyone.
I’m Jodie, I’m the MD at Tiny Hunter. And today, I wanna ask you, how well is your brand embedded in your organisation? How is it working for you? Maybe you haven’t looked at your brand identity or strategy for a long time or maybe you have looked at it in recent years. But, that rebrand phase is really, the first very critical part of just an ongoing journey. You need to make sure that then you’ve really embedded that within the organisation and still living and breathing because your brand really is your strategy in motion. So, how can you know if this is working? A few things, a good one is values.
Values are really how the brand behaves, how your team behaves. So, does everyone know the values? Do they talk about them? Do they know what it means in that day-to-day when they’re making a decision without you looking over their shoulder? So, that’s a good one. Also, how do they speak about your products or services or your business? Do they know what the key points of difference are that set you apart from competitors? So, they’re positioning you in the right way in their everyday interactions or if they’re making content and those sorts of things.
Does everyone have a really clear view of your most important customer, so they can be really customer-centric in a way that they’re behaving, making decisions, creating content, interacting with people, and making sure that they’re having an amazing customer experience. But, also in terms of your marketing, so rather than just being very sort of quick win and tactically focused, are you doing more brand-building long-term marketing activity as well?
Are you making sure that you’re really reinforcing that positioning that is going to set you apart from other people? So, there’s quite a lot of work to be done to make sure that your brand is healthy and it’s living and it’s breathing. So, that’s what I want you to think about today.
